Still Lifes
An experimental short that recontextualises traditional representations of women throughout art history and troubles expectations surrounding identity, voice, and storytelling.
This is the first short film I made during my undergraduate degree at UTS in Sydney. Shot on 16 mm film (Bolex), the streaks of red you sometimes see are light leaks, a happy accident which reminds me of the unexpected joys of working on film.
